Cover Artists

Blaise Kilgallen

Blaise earned her BS in Fine Art Education with the intention to teach, but it wasn't her "bag." A multi-published romance author, Blaise finally found her "niche." Actually--two niches. She now writes romantic fiction--historical and contemporary novels-and has sold almost a dozen novels. She created some of her own covers, and does covers for several e-publishers. She loves to do "romance" covers best, but created some "mystery" and "suspense" covers as well. Blaise paints regularly and markets her framed watercolor and acrylics in several local outlets.

Kate Aley

Born in Australia, now living in Canada, Kate Aley has a B.A. in graphic design and photography.

In 2003, she took somewhat of a left turn from art into writing, joining two community newspapers as journalist and photographer. Since then, she has written articles for publications as diverse as the Globe and Mail (Canada's first national newspaper) and Harrowsmith Country Living (venerable Canadian lifestyle magazine).

Kate has edited numerous ebooks for Alinar authors in Italy, England and the U.S., as well as working on manuscripts for Canadian and Australian printed works.

Reliable, fast and self-motivated, she is comfortable working to a deadline from her home office. As editor, she focuses on helping authors voices shine in their work, disentangling extraneous material to let the story organically flow and develop depth and cohesion.

Editing fees: $25 U.S. per 10,000 words.
