New Look and Chat month!

Alinar Publishing has a new look! What's more, we'll be working on the site over the coming months to further improve the look of the site.

Summer is coming! Relax with a romance...

May is upon us and summer is just around the corner. Now that we're entering the warmer months, it's a perfect time to pick up a romance and relax with a good read.

We've got all manner of romances to suit all tastes coming up this summer, from paranormals to contemporaries, and historicals to science-fiction! Whatever your tastes, we'll have something perfect for you.

Preditors and Editors Poll, Paperbacks and Kindle

We had three top ten positions in the Preditors and Editors 2007 poll. The Moon Child's Wish came second in cover art - artist Dan Skinner, title font by Felicity Heaton. Over The Edge by Kallysten came in at seven in the erotic novel category. And Dare I by Kallysten came in at number nine in the short romance section. (Well done Kallysten!) Thank you everyone for voting.

Our authors have started adding Kindle to the formats available on Alinar Publishing. At the moment, though, we can only add books from US authors as Kindle isn't available outside of the States.

Some of our authors are also adding more paperback/print versions of their books this year.

You'll find purchase links to Kindle and to LULU (for the print versions) at the bottom of the excerpts. And don't forget, if you want formats other than pdf and html you can click the link to buy at Fictionwise where they sell upwards of ten formats.

Christmas is Coming!

Another year is almost over and we've had a blast! It's been a wonderful first year for us and we can't thank our readers enough for their support and feedback on our stories.

We can tell you all now that our seasonal releases this December will really warm your heart and send it fluttering too!

And what's in store for the new year? We've got more great stories from all our authors and we're sure that you're going to love them!

In a way, this isn't just a celebration of a year of being open... it's a celebration of success. Over the past year, we've had a tremendous amount of things to celebrate and it's all thanks to our readers, as well as the hard work our authors put in, and of course myself and Maria.

Updated look, bestsellers and what's coming soon?

We've got an updated look at the Alinar Publishing website with a new banner! There's a very exciting few months coming in terms of book releases. Our first Romantic Suspense Ebooks are coming to the site, there's going to be more stories in the Fantasy Romance Ebooks section and we've got some great Paranormal Romances and Historical Romances coming up!

Not only that, but we're redoubling our focus on bringing you quality stories at great prices. Alinar Publishing was started with this in mind, and we believe that so far we've brought you great stories by a variety of authors.

We've also been very excited by the fact that some of our ebooks have been Bestsellers over at Fictionwise during their time there. It started with Setting Him Free reaching the no.5 bestseller slot in Romance, Prophecy: Child of Light reached no.6 in the bestseller list overall, and In Heat is a no.1 bestseller in Erotica! We're proud to bring you bestselling romance!

Changes are afoot!

Well, we've had a spring clean here at Alinar Publishing, with a new design as well as new features.

In April we introduced a new monthly competition where you can win yourself the ebook of your choice from the website, as well as author interviews. We interviewed Jude Johnson in April, and this month we talked to Alexandra Marell. Do check them out in The Lounge!

We've also moved things around on the books page as we're listening to what the readers want. Now the excerpts for the stories appear on the same page as the book details, above the reviews, so you'll be able to find them easier. We really hope this makes your experience with Alinar more enjoyable.

Right now we're working on adding a place where you can sign up for a monthly newsletter, which features details of all the books released in the previous month. This will help all the readers that done have time to browse and instead want the details in their inbox!

Great new paranormal romance ebook series at Alinar Publishing!

We're proud to announce that we've got two great new Paranormal Romance Ebook Series at Alinar Publishing. Kallysten has chosen Alinar Publishing as the new home of her On The Edge series, which includes the fantastic Out of the Box series of short sexy stories. We've just received the third Out of the Box story and we're really excited about it. Keep your eyes open for it!

The other paranormal romance series we've got is F E Heaton's Vampires Realm (yes, F E Heaton is my alter-ego). The first novel in the series, Prophecy: Child of Light is available now.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner!

It seems like only yesterday that it was Christmas, and now Valentine's Day is just around the corner! We've got some great stories to celebrate the day with, and we're happy that for this special romantic day we're able to bring you so many free reads.

Besides Valentine's Day, we've got some amazing stories coming. There are more paranormals from Kallysten, more great historicals from Jude Johnson, Eve Asbury and Gayle Eden. T'is the season

It’s the holiday season now. The decorations are going up in every city, the nights are closing in, and there’s a chill in the air (at least if you live in the northern hemisphere). I’m finally back from my vacation in Japan, and it’s straight back to work for me. All of the authors are hard at work on their latest stories, and we’re hoping we can bring you all some seasonal shorts and new stories to keep you warm on those cold nights. Myself and Maria are doing interviews right now so keep your eyes peeled for those. We’ll announce them when they come out. They’re sure to be a great way to get to know more about the company and they’re usually quite a giggle too. We were thrilled to see our ebooks up on Fictionwise so quickly. It’s great to be there and I can’t wait to get some of the great stories that are in the pipeline released. Check out the coming soon section.

A welcome message

We’d love to welcome you all to Alinar Publishing. As we take our first tentative baby steps the site will begin to expand and new areas will appear. We’ll announce all of the additions and much more in this little space so keep your eyes peeled. There’ll be announcements about new authors and books too, and of course any chat days that we line up.

We’ve got a whole list of great ebooks that have been added to the site, including a series of Halloween stories to get you into the mood for mischief and magic. Some of them are even be available for the princely sum of $0.99 as part of our Ebooks Under a Dollar section!
